WARNING
- Do not ground accessories by connecting them directly to the battery terminal. This would short-circuit the voltage control device and the battery may not charge fully.
- To avoid discharging the battery, use accessories only while the engine is running.
Your vehicle is equipped with a voltage control device. This device regulates the voltage generated by the alternator based on the electrical discharge produced by the battery.
The current sensor is located near the battery, along the battery negative cable. If you add electrical accessories to your vehicle, make sure to connect them to an appropriate body ground point, such as the frame or the engine cylinder block.
