WARNING
- Running the engine with the air filter removed may cause burns to you or others. The air filter not only cleans the air, it also helps stop flames in the event of an engine backfire. If the air filter is removed and the engine backfires, you may be burned. Do not drive your vehicle with the air filter removed, and be careful when performing engine work without the air filter installed.
- Never pour fuel into the throttle body or attempt to start the engine while the air filter is removed. Doing so could cause serious injury.
Cabin Air Filter
The cabin air filter traps airborne dust and pollen particles, and also reduces the entry of certain unwanted odors into the passenger compartment. The filter is located behind the glove box. Refer to the NISSAN Maintenance and Repair Guide for the replacement intervals of this filter.
Consult your NISSAN dealer if replacement is necessary.
