Check the fluid level in the reservoir.

Check the fluid level when the fluid is cold and its temperature is between 0 and 30 C (32 and 86 F). You can check the fluid level using the level indicator attached to the cap.

To check the fluid level, remove the cap.

The fluid level must be between the MAX 1 (maximum) and MIN 2 (minimum) marks.

If the fluid level is below the MIN 2 (minimum) mark, add genuine NISSAN E-PSF Power Steering Fluid. To do so, remove the cap and pour the fluid into the filler opening.

WARNING

  • Do not overfill.
  • Using a power steering fluid other than genuine NISSAN E-PSF Power Steering Fluid will cause the power steering to malfunction.
  • Power steering fluid is toxic. Store it in a clearly labeled container, out of the reach of children.
