Fuses

Your vehicle uses two types of fuses. The engine compartment fuse boxes use Type A fuses. The passenger compartment fuse box uses Type B fuses.
Spare Type A fuses are supplied as standard equipment. They are located in the passenger compartment fuse box.
Type A fuses can be used in both the engine compartment and passenger compartment fuse boxes.

When a Type A fuse is used to replace a Type B fuse, it will not seat as deeply as Type B fuses (see illustration). This fuse will protect the circuit in the same way. Check that the fuse is fully seated in the fuse box.
Type B fuses are not suitable for the engine compartment fuse boxes.
Use only Type A fuses in the engine compartment fuse boxes.
