Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir

Fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir periodically.

Add windshield washer fluid when the low fluid warning light comes on.

To fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir, remove the reservoir cap and pour the washer fluid into the reservoir opening.

Add a windshield washer solvent for better cleaning results. In winter, add a windshield washer antifreeze. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing ratios.

Fill the reservoir more often when driving conditions require heavy use of washer fluid.

Genuine NISSAN Cleaning Concentrated Windshield Washer Fluid with antifreeze or equivalent is recommended.

WARNING

Antifreeze is toxic. Store it in a clearly labeled container, out of the reach of children.

WARNING

  • Do not use engine coolant as windshield washer fluid. It could damage the painted surfaces of the vehicle.
  • Do not fill the washer fluid reservoir with undiluted washer fluid concentrates. Splashes of some methanol-based washer fluid concentrates can permanently stain the grille while filling the reservoir.
  • Mix washer fluid concentrate with water according to the manufacturer's recommendations before pouring the mixture into the washer fluid reservoir. Do not mix it in the reservoir itself.
