The following procedure erases the programming of both buttons. It is not possible to erase the programming of an individual button. However, individual buttons can be reprogrammed. See "Reprogramming a Single HomeLinkMD Button" in this chapter.

To erase all programming:

  1. Press and hold both outer buttons of the HomeLinkMD remote until the indicator light begins to flash, after about 10 seconds. Do not hold the buttons for more than 20 seconds.
  2. Release both buttons.

The HomeLinkMD remote is now in programming mode and can be programmed at any time, starting at step 1 of the "Programming the HomeLinkMD Universal Remote" section.
