After programming the HomeLinkMD universal remote, you can use it to activate the programmed device. To use it, briefly press the appropriate programmed button on the HomeLinkMD universal remote. The amber indicator light comes on while the signal is being transmitted.

For convenience, the device's handheld remote can also be used.
