Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the ATS connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the ATS [B1/S1].
  4. Make sure the resistance is within specification.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the front lower undercover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine and Transaxle Assembly")
  3. Disconnect the connector, then remove the ambient air temperature sensor (A).

Installation
  • Note that internal damage may occur if the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect it before installation.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
