Description

The WGT actuator is installed on the turbocharger. It operates the Waste Gate Turbocharger (WGT) turbine and regulates the boost pressure using the ECM PWM signal. This actuator consists of a DC motor that drives the lever, a two-stage reduction gear that increases the DC motor torque, a position sensor that detects the lever position, and an electronic control unit that drives the DC motor.
