Inspection

  1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Measure the BPS output voltage with the engine idling and the ignition switched ON.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the boost pressure sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the installation bolt (B) and remove the sensor.

Installation
  • Install the component with the specified torque.
  • Note that internal damage may occur if the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect it before installation.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal. Boost pressure sensor mounting bolt: 9.8 ~ 11.8 N·m
