Adjustment PROCEDURE 1. Install special plate 1 with support 3, upright 4 and dial indicator 5. 2. Install plunger 6 of the dial indicator on the end of reverse gear shift rod 7 and preload the indicator by 1 mm. 3. Measure the axial travel of rod 7 with the dial indicator by moving rod 7 accordingly. 4. Divide the two recorded axial travel readings in half and set rod 7 to this middle position, securing it with screw 2. 5. Move shift lever 10 in the reverse gear direction using a lever and install the adjusting selector with pin 8. 6. Read the dial indicator while moving selector pin 8 to its stop. 7. Set selector pin 8 to the middle position based on the recorded readings and secure with screw 9. 8. Remove dial indicator 5 with support 3 and upright 4. 9. Loosen bolt 12 so that coupling sleeve 13 can move freely on inner shift lever 14. 10. Set inner shift lever 14 to the middle position. 11. Install locating pins on the clutch housing. 12. Remove special plate 1 from the transmission housing and install it on the clutch housing, turned 180°, so that selector pin 8 enters coupling sleeve 13. If necessary, correct the coupling sleeve with a screwdriver. 13. Secure coupling sleeve 13 with bolt 12.
