Depending on the equipment version, for example air conditioning, towing hitch, or heavy-duty cooling, the 5-cylinder engine is fitted with an additional water radiator located directly in front of the engine. This auxiliary radiator is connected in parallel with the main radiator and thereby increases the effective cooling surface. Removal:

PROCEDURE

Remove the engine compartment undershield (refer to Body Components).

Drain the coolant.

Disconnect the cooling system hoses from the radiator.

Remove the upper mounting bolt/nut (one) and the lower mounting bolts/nuts (two) on the auxiliary radiator.
