Radiator
The radiator is fitted with so-called plastic tanks. On models with 4- and 6-cylinder engines they are located on the right and left sides of the radiator; on 5-cylinder engines they are located at the top and bottom. Coolant flows from these tanks through the aluminum radiator tubes, which are fitted with cooling fins to increase their surface area (and thereby the cooling area). Through the cooling fins, the coolant gives off heat to the atmosphere.
If a radiator leak is suspected, have the radiator checked for leaks with the pressure test described in the workshop. If the defect is obvious, you can remove the radiator yourself and take it to be repaired.
