Measuring Wheel Alignment Angles
In this manual: Suspension and Steering
~1min read
Wheel alignment angles must be adjusted only after a hard impact with a curb, an accident, certain repair work on the front suspension, or simply in cases of suspicion (one-sided tire wear). This work, however, can only be performed on an optical alignment bench. For measurement, the tire pressure must be correct, the vehicle must be unloaded, the suspension must be settled and balanced, and the components of the front suspension and steering must have no play. Specifications for wheel alignment measurement can be found in Technical Data.
