Roof Rack

~1min read

A special roof rack is available as optional equipment. Follow the recommendations contained in the installation instructions.
Loading the roof rack raises the vehicle's center of gravity, which significantly changes its dynamic characteristics and handling.
Therefore, when loading, make sure not to exceed the payload capacity of the roof rack, as well as the permissible gross vehicle weight and axle loads. The relevant data can be found in the Specifications.
Cargo placed on the roof rack must be distributed evenly across it and be as compact as possible. Place heavy items at the bottom.
Proper and secure fastening of the load will prevent it from shifting or falling from the vehicle while driving, which would be a hazard to vehicles behind you.
Drive the vehicle smoothly, avoiding abrupt starts, sudden braking and aggressive cornering.
Luggage carried on the roof increases the aerodynamic drag. As a result, fuel consumption increases and the load on the body increases.
