Manual Transmission (MT)

The neutral position of the gear shift lever (shown as a dot in the diagram) is located on the line between 3rd and 4th gears.

When shifting from any gear to Neutral, the lever is returned by the springs to the said line.

The neutral position of the gear shift lever (shown as a dot in the diagram) is on the line between 3rd and 4th gears.

When shifting from any gear to neutral, the lever is returned to this line by the springs.

When engaging 5th and 6th gears, always press the lever to the right to prevent accidentally engaging 3rd or 4th gear.

Reverse gear

Engage reverse only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Apply some force while pressing the lever to the left.

Reverse lights

The reverse lights illuminate when reverse gear is engaged with the ignition switch in position 2.

When stopped on a hill, do not hold the vehicle with the clutch slipping. Use the parking brake for this purpose. Clutch slipping causes rapid clutch wear.
