Before crossing a national border where traffic drives on the opposite side of the road, perform the following actions to adjust the headlights.

PROCEDURE
Vehicles with xenon headlights and right-hand drive
1. Remove the cover above the headlights.
2. Left-hand traffic: move the lever to the left, as viewed in the direction of travel.
Right-hand traffic: move the lever to the right, as viewed in the direction of travel.

Vehicles with left-hand drive without xenon headlights
To avoid dazzling oncoming drivers, have the corresponding work performed at a BMW authorized service center.
