Inspection

  1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Measure the BPS output voltage with the engine idling and the ignition switched ON.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
  3. Disconnect the boost pressure sensor connector (A).
  4. Remove the installation bolt (B) and remove the sensor.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal. Boost pressure sensor mounting bolt: 9.8–11.8 N·m
