Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the PCSV connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the PCSV.
  4. Make sure the resistance is within specification.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the purge control solenoid valve connector (A).
  3. Disconnect the vapor hoses (B) from the purge control solenoid valve.
  4. Remove the installation bolt (C), then remove the PCSV (D) from the engine.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal. PCSV bracket mounting bolt: 9.8–11.8 N·m
