~1min read

Description

The WGT electric actuator is installed on the turbocharger. It operates the Waste Gate (WGT) valve in the turbocharger and regulates the amount of boost pressure using a PWM signal from the ECM. The actuator consists of a DC motor that drives the valve lever, a two-stage reduction gear that increases the torque of the DC motor, a position sensor that detects the state of the valve lever, and an electronic control unit that controls the DC motor.
