Inspection

  1. Check the CMPS and CKPS signal waveforms using the GDS.

    Specification: Refer to the Waveform.

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the mounting bolt (B) and remove the sensor. [Bank 1 / Intake]
    [Bank 1/Exhaust]

Installation

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal. Camshaft Position Sensor mounting bolt: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m
