Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Disconnect the IAT sensor connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 4 of the IAT sensor.
  4. Make sure the resistance is within specification.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the installation bolt (B) and remove the sensor from the surge tank.

Installation

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal. Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS) mounting bolt: 9.8 ~ 11.8 N·m
