PROCEDURE

Removal PROCEDURE 1. Remove the door handle (see sub-section 11.11). 2. Insert the key into the lock. 3. Unscrew the screw 1 (upper illustration). 4. Remove the operating rod 2 from the lock cylinder switch. 5. Remove the spring 3 (lower illustration). 6. Remove the lock cylinder switch 4 with the key inserted. Warning The key may only be removed from the lock cylinder switch after the switch has been wrapped with insulating tape, otherwise the lock wafers will fall out. The code number for the key is stamped on the lock cylinder switch housing. Installation PROCEDURE 1. Install the lock cylinder switch 4 into the door handle. 2. Install the spring so that its ends are hooked behind the projection on the lock cylinder switch housing. 3. Install the operating rod 2 onto the square seat of the lock cylinder switch 4 housing. 4. Tighten the screw 1. 5. Install the door handle 5 on the door (see sub-section 11.11).
