Removal PROCEDURE 1. Remove the door panel trim (refer to subsection 11.16). 2. Remove the protective film 13 (refer to Figure Door Glass). 3. Install the window regulator handle and lower the glass. 4. Unscrew the bolts 19 securing the window regulator slider to the glass. 5. Lift the glass 10 by hand. 6. Remove the window regulator handle. 7. Unscrew the bolts 20 securing the regulator mechanism. 8. Unscrew the bolts 21 securing the window regulator guide. 9. Remove the window regulator 2 through the opening in the lower part of the door. Installation PROCEDURE 1. Install the window regulator 2 into the door. 2. Tighten the bolts 20 securing the regulator mechanism to 7.5 N·m. 3. Tighten the bolts 21 securing the window regulator guide to 7.5 N·m. 4. Lower the glass 10 and tighten the bolts 19 securing the window regulator slider to the glass. 5. Raise and lower the glass several times. If the glass moves stiffly or binds, loosen the bolts, align the glass correctly, and retighten the bolts. 6. Attach the protective film 13 using double-sided adhesive tape. 7. Install the door panel trim.
