Inner door lock

PROCEDURE

Inner door lock 1 – bolt; 2 – lock; 3 – rod; 4 – locking rod; 5 – bushing; 6 – locking lever

Inner door lock mechanism 1 – screwdriver; 2 – operating lever; 3 – spring

Removal PROCEDURE 1. Remove bolts 1 (see illustration Inner door lock). 2. Pull lock 2 slightly toward you. 3. Insert screwdriver 1 (see illustration Inner door lock mechanism) into the hole and lock operating lever 2 in this position. 4. Disconnect rod 3 (see illustration Inner door lock) from the operating lever. 5. Remove the lock. Installation PROCEDURE 1. Install operating lever 2 (see illustration Inner door lock mechanism) at a 90° angle to the housing and lock it in place with screwdriver 1 through the hole. 2. Install lock 2 (see illustration Inner door lock) on the door.

3. Install locking lever 6 into bushing 5. 4. Connect rod 3 to the operating lever. 5. Remove the screwdriver from the hole. 6. Tighten bolts 1 to 21 N·m.
