Conducción con función de arranque/parada

Start/stop is a function that temporarily turns off the engine when the vehicle is stationary and then automatically starts it when needed. The Start/Stop function is available when the ignition is started and can be activated if certain conditions are met.

El cuadro de instrumentos indica cuándo la función

• no está disponible.

Todos los sistemas normales del vehículo, como la iluminación, la radio, etc., funcionan con normalidad cuando el motor se ha detenido automáticamente. Sin embargo, algunas funciones pueden reducirse temporalmente, como la velocidad del ventilador de la climatización o el volumen muy alto del sistema de audio.

Parada automática

Para detener el motor automáticamente:

• Detenga el vehículo pisando el freno y mantenga pisado el pedal del freno. El motor se detendrá automáticamente.

En el modo de conducción Confort o Eco, el motor puede detenerse automáticamente antes de que el vehículo se haya detenido por completo.

With Adaptive Cruise Control or Pilot Assist activated, the engine will auto-stop about three seconds after the vehicle has stopped.

Arranque automático

Deben cumplirse las siguientes condiciones para que el motor arranque automáticamente.

• Release the brake pedal. The engine will auto-start and the vehicle can be driven. On an uphill gradient, Hill Start Assist (HSA¹ ) will activate to help prevent the vehicle from rolling backward.
• When the Auto-hold function is activated, auto-start will be delayed until the accelerator is pressed.
• When Adaptive Cruise Control or Pilot Assist are activated, the engine will autostart when the accelerator pedal is depressed or the button on the leftside steering wheel keypad is pressed.
• Mantenga pisado el pedal del freno y pise el pedal del acelerador. El motor arrancará automáticamente.
• En una pendiente descendente: suelte ligeramente el pedal del freno para que el vehículo empiece a rodar. El motor arrancará automáticamente tras un ligero aumento de la velocidad.

Símbolos del cuadro de instrumentos

White – Displayed in the tachometer when the function is available.

Green – Shown in the tachometer when the function is active and the engine is auto-stopped.

Gray – When the symbol is grayedout with a line through it, the function is not available.

Si el símbolo no se muestra, la función está desactivada.

La función está activa y el motor tiene parada automática.

On vehicles with the 8-inch instrument panel, the symbol will be shown at the bottom of the speedometer.
