MPFI only

PROCEDURE

Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

Using a precision ohmmeter, measure the resistance between both sensor terminals.

Compare the measured result with the specified values in the chart above, according to intake air temperature. If the value deviates significantly from the specification, replace the temperature sensor.

As a supplement, one additional reference resistance value: at 20°C (room temperature, cold engine) the resistance should be approximately 6.3 kΩ.
