PROCEDURE

Disconnect the throttle position potentiometer connector.

Using a precision ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the potentiometer terminals.

Measurements must be taken with the throttle in the "idle" and "full load" positions with the engine off.

The ohmmeter should show the following specified values:

Throttle position Measure between terminals Specified value (kΩ)
(Not important) 1 and 2 1,5 – 2,6
Idle 2 and 3 0,75 – 1,3
Full Load 2 and 3 max. 3.6
