Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. The following points require special attention:

PROCEDURE

Check that the torque converter is correctly installed in the automatic transmission. Make sure it does not shift forward during installation.

Only original bolts must be used to attach the torque converter to the flexplate; otherwise the torque converter will be damaged.

When installing, tighten the rubber-metal mount bolts last. Before tightening, align the mount so that the mount core is centered in the housing.

Install a 13 mm spacer washer between the counter-support of the ATF cooler line and the automatic transmission.

If necessary, fill with new ATF.

Install the exhaust pipe.

Adjust the selector lever.
