Jump Starting Precautions

Do not attempt to jump start an automatic transmission vehicle. This may cause transmission damage.

Do not disconnect the battery from the disabled vehicle. This may damage your vehicle's electrical system.

Preparing the Vehicle

Use only a 12-volt power source to start the vehicle.

Position the booster vehicle near the hood of the disabled vehicle, making sure the two vehicles do not touch.
