Any repair of the fuel tank and its filler neck must be entrusted to specialists experienced in performing this type of potentially hazardous work.

Remember that even after the tank has been cleaned and flushed, explosive fuel vapors may remain inside it and can ignite during repair procedures!


The fuel tank removed from the vehicle must be moved to a location where any contact with open flame is completely eliminated. Exercise special caution when handling the fuel tank in garages equipped with natural gas heating appliances with a pilot light!
