PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

If the vehicle is equipped with an audio system with an anti-theft code, make sure you have the correct code to activate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!
2. Loosen the clamp securing the air intake duct to the air cleaner assembly.

3. Release the spring clips, remove the cover from the air cleaner assembly and remove the filter element.
4. Remove the mounting bolts, carefully lift the air cleaner housing and disengage the rubber mounting bushings from the battery tray. Remove the housing from the vehicle.

5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
