Inspection

  1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the ignition on.
  3. Measure the output voltage of APS 1 and 2 at C.T. and W.O.T.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the mounting nut (C) after removing the upper cover (B).
  4. Remove the mounting bolt (E) after removing the lower cover (D).

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Accelerator pedal module mounting bolt: 8.8 - 13.7 N·m
