Vehicle Information

ESC (Electronic Stability Control)

~1min read

The ESC system is designed to stabilize the vehicle during cornering maneuvers. ESC monitors the steering direction and the direction the vehicle is actually traveling.

ESC applies braking pressure to any one of the vehicle's brakes and intervenes in the engine management system to help the driver keep the vehicle on the intended path.

It does not replace safe driving practices.

Always adjust speed and driving to road conditions.

WARNING Do not drive at a speed that is excessive for road conditions or take corners too quickly. ESC does not prevent accidents. Excessive speed in corners, sudden maneuvers and hydroplaning on wet surfaces can still cause serious accidents.
