DC/DC-Wandler
Description and Operation
Description
Due to significantly more frequent starting processes, electrical loads often cause voltage fluctuations in the vehicle's electrical system.
To supply power to certain voltage-sensitive electronic components. The DC/DC converter is used together with the ISG function to stabilize voltage.
The DC/DC converter has a relay so that the voltage remains constant during the starting process.
The DC/DC converter is located behind the glove box.
The electronics select the control lines for the input voltage and the starter relay, and determine whether power is supplied to the output through the bypass or the DC/DC converter.
In bypass mode, the vehicle system voltage is not supplied through the DC/DC converter but is transmitted directly to the outputs. In the amplifier phase, the vehicle voltage is adjusted.
