WARNING - Ignition Key (Smart Key) Leaving children unattended in the vehicle with the ignition key (Smart Key) is dangerous, even when the key is not in the ignition or the START/STOP button is not in the ACC or ON position. Children imitate adults and may insert the key into the ignition or press the START/STOP button. The ignition key (Smart Key) allows children to operate power windows and other controls, or even move the vehicle, which could result in serious injury or death.Never leave the keys in the vehicle with the engine running or when children are unattended in it.
WARNING Use only genuine Kia parts when making a replacement ignition key for your vehicle. Using another key available on the market may cause the key not to return to the ON position after the engine is started from the START position. If this happens, the starter motor will keep operating, causing damage to the starter motor and creating a risk of fire due to excessive current flowing through its windings.Test yourself
