For the cigar lighter to operate, the ignition switch must be in the ACC or ON position.

To use the cigar lighter, push it fully into its socket.

When the element has heated up, the cigar lighter will pop out to the "ready" position.

If the cigar lighter needs to be replaced, use only an original Kia replacement or an approved equivalent.

WARNING
  • Do not hold the cigar lighter in the socket after it has heated up, as this will cause overheating.
  • If the cigar lighter does not pop out within 30 seconds, remove it to avoid overheating.
CAUTION Only an original Kia cigar lighter should be used with the cigar lighter socket.

Using accessories plugged into the socket (for example, an electric shaver, handheld vacuum cleaner, or coffee maker) may damage the socket and cause an electrical malfunction.
