  1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
  2. Start the engine and let it idle until it reaches operating temperature.
  3. Turn the ignition off. Wait for the oil to drain back into the oil pan (more than 10 minutes).
  4. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean. Then reinsert it fully into its tube.

  1. Remove it again and check the oil level. The level must be between the H (high) and L (low) marks B. This is the normal oil level. If the oil level is below the L (low) mark, remove the oil filler cap and add oil through opening A. Do not overfill beyond capacity C.
  2. Check the oil level again using the dipstick.

Adding oil between scheduled maintenance intervals or during the break-in period is normal if you drive your vehicle under severe conditions.

  • Engine oil level must be checked regularly.

Running the engine with insufficient oil may cause engine damage that is not covered by the warranty.
