Checking the Coolant Level

~1min read
Vérification du niveau de liquide de refroidissement

Wait until the engine is cold before checking the coolant level in the reservoir. If the level is below the MIN B mark, add coolant until it reaches the MAX A mark. If the reservoir is empty, wait until the engine is cold and check the coolant level in the radiator.

If the coolant level in the radiator is low, add coolant until it reaches the bottom of the filler neck, and also add coolant to the reservoir up to the MAX A mark.

This vehicle contains genuine NISSAN long-life antifreeze/coolant (blue). The service life of the genuine coolant is 168,000 km (105,000 miles) or seven years. If you mix a different type of coolant or use non-distilled water, the service life of the genuine coolant will be reduced. Refer to the NISSAN Maintenance and Repair Guide for more information.

Have the vehicle's cooling system checked by a NISSAN dealer if you need to add coolant frequently.
