VEHICLE OPERATION UNDER SEVERE CONDITIONS

~1min read

The design and equipment of the vehicle are intended primarily for normal operating conditions. The maintenance intervals and scope specified in the service book are calculated accordingly.

If the vehicle is operated under severe conditions (for example, extremely high or low air temperatures, poor-quality fuel, dusty roads, etc.), additional maintenance is required, for example, oil changes with the appropriate viscosity grade, installation of heavy-duty air filters, ignition adjustment, etc.

In addition, inspection and service intervals must be shortened for components subjected to greater loads under specific severe operating conditions.
