Brake fluid level check procedure

The correct brake fluid level is necessary for proper operation of the braking system. The level must be between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks.

During operation, the fluid gradually decreases to a very small extent. This is normal.

If the level drops noticeably in a short period of time or reaches the "MIN" mark, a leak in the system is possible. Immediately go to a service station and check the entire system for leaks.

The warning lamp illuminates when the brake fluid level is low.

Brake Fluid

Brake fluid absorbs moisture. Over time this leads to an increase in water content, which causes corrosion of the system and lowers the boiling point of the fluid. In an emergency braking situation, water may evaporate and form vapor locks, reducing the efficiency and effectiveness of the braking system. Therefore, the fluid must be replaced every 2 years. The fluid must not be expired and must meet only the specification intended for this model.

Должна храниться в плотно закрытой заводской упаковке подальше от детей.Brake fluid is poisonous. Store it in a tightly closed original container out of reach of children.

Note that brake fluid damages the paint finish.

It is best to have the fluid replaced at a service station during scheduled maintenance.
