ENGINE OIL - Oil Change Procedure

~1min read

Oil properties gradually deteriorate not only as a result of engine operation but also through natural aging. Therefore, oil change intervals depend on both factors.

Gasoline engines: Change the oil every 15,000 km or 12 months of engine operation, whichever occurs first.

Diesel engines: Change the oil every 7,500 km or 12 months of vehicle operation, whichever occurs first.

General recommendations for all engine types: When the vehicle is operated frequently under severe road conditions, the oil change intervals should be shortened somewhat.

Drain used oil carefully, without harm to the environment.
