Electric parking brake

~4min read

The electric parking brake of the Citroën C6 can be operated conveniently at the push of a button and ensures maximum safety when parking and starting off. It applies automatically when the vehicle is stationary and can be released by pressing the brake or accelerator pedal. In case of a malfunction, a mechanical emergency release is available. The system is intelligently integrated into the entire vehicle, including the diagnostic connector, warning lamps and warning messages. This modern solution replaces the conventional handbrake and makes parking more convenient and safer, even on sloping ground.
