Low Tyre Pressure Warning Light

~1min read
Этот сигнализатор включается на несколько секунд при повороте ключа зажигания

This light comes on for a few seconds when the ignition switch is turned to the ON (II) position.

This indicator performs the following two functions:

1. If the vehicle speed exceeds 25 km/h, the light coming on may indicate that the tyre pressure in one of the wheels is critically low.

The following symbol is also shown on the multi-information display:«CHECK TYRE PRESSURE» (Проверьте давление воздуха в шинах).which may be accompanied by the message "CHECK TYRE PRESSURE".

If this occurs, carefully pull over to the side of the road, identify the wheel with the low tyre, and determine the cause of the pressure loss. If the tyre is damaged, replace the damaged wheel with the spare temporary-use wheel (if equipped) or use the tyre repair kit (if equipped). Have the damaged tyre repaired as soon as possible.

If the tyre pressure is low in two or more tyres, call roadside assistance to have the vehicle towed.

This light may come on unexpectedly due to changes in tyre condition or road conditions.

For more information, refer to page 404.

2. A flashing light indicates a malfunction in the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The following symbol is shown on the multi-information display:«CHECK SYSTEM» (Проверьте систему).which may be accompanied by the message "CHECK SYSTEM".

The light continues to flash for some time (about one minute), and then stays on. In this case, have the vehicle inspected immediately at an authorized Dealer service center.
