This indicator comes on briefly when the ignition switch is turned to the ON (II) position. If the key is registered for this vehicle, the indicator will go off. If a different key is inserted into the ignition switch, the indicator will flash and the immobilizer will block fuel supply and engine starting (see also page 162).
