Head Restraint Removal

To remove a head restraint, pull it up to its stop. Press the lock release button, then remove the head restraint from the seatback.

Be sure to reinstall the head restraints. Otherwise, passengers may suffer serious injury in an accident.

Always reinstall a removed head restraint before driving.

Make sure removed head restraints are securely installed.

To install a head restraint, insert the posts into the holes. Then adjust the height of the head restraint by pressing the lock release button.

When reinstalling the head restraints, make sure they are securely locked in place.

When returning the seatback to the upright position, be sure to reinstall the rear seat head restraints.
