PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the wire from terminal M.
2. Using jumper wires, connect the battery terminal to terminal S and the magnetic switch body.

Perform this check within 10 seconds, otherwise the magnetic switch coil may burn out.

3. If the pinion gear stays in place, the magnetic switch hold-in coil is faulty. Replace the magnetic switch.
