MAINTENANCE

To ensure safe driving, the vehicle must be maintained properly.

Some maintenance operations may be performed by the owner (see Owner's Information); the rest must be performed only by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer (Scheduled Inspection and Maintenance).

For maintenance operations performed by the owner, prepare the appropriate materials and tools and observe the precautions described in the “Owner's Information” section of this manual.

However, the owner must not attempt to perform scheduled inspections; they must be performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Proper performance of scheduled inspection and maintenance requires special knowledge and equipment.

Performing these operations by trained HYUNDAI personnel using the latest technology and equipment ensures your vehicle will deliver optimum performance, economy and safety.

In addition, having scheduled inspection and maintenance performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer is a prerequisite for the validity of the warranty on your vehicle in the event of a claim. Refer to the separate “Service Booklet” brochure for details on maintenance operations and schedules.
