Anti-theft Alarm System (Minivan Only) (if equipped)
This system protects the vehicle against unauthorized entry. The system operates in three states: first "Armed," second "Alarm," and third "Disarmed." When activated, the system sounds an audible signal and flashes the turn signal lights.

"Armed" State
Park the vehicle and turn off the engine.
Activate the system as described below.
1. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
2. Make sure the hood and tailgate are locked.
3. Lock the doors using the keyless entry transmitter.
After completing these steps, the turn signal lamp will flash once, indicating that the system is armed.
1. If any door, tailgate or hood is open, the system will not arm.
2. If this occurs, re-arm the system as described above.
CAUTION:
Do not arm the system until all passengers have left the vehicle. If the system is armed while passenger(s) remain in the vehicle, the alarm may activate when the remaining passenger leaves the vehicle.

"Alarm" State
The alarm will activate if any of the following occurs while the vehicle is parked and the system is armed.
1. Front or rear door is opened without using the transmitter.
2. Cargo area door is opened without using the transmitter.
3. Hood is opened.
The horn will sound and the turn signal lamps will flash continuously for 27 seconds (EU only; 3 times outside the EU). To turn off the system, unlock the door or tailgate with the transmitter.
CAUTION:
Do not start the engine while the system is armed.
"Disarmed" State
The system will be disarmed when the driver's or passenger's door is unlocked by pressing the "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter.
After this state ends, the turn signal lamp will flash twice, indicating that the system is disarmed.
Once the system is disarmed, it can only be armed again by repeating the arming procedure.
CAUTION:
Only the transmitter can disarm the "Armed" state. If the transmitter does not disarm the system, perform the following:
1. Unlock the doors with the key, which will trigger the alarm.
2. Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder and turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
After these steps, the system will be disarmed.
Keyless Entry System (if equipped)
Locking the Doors
1. Close all doors.
2. Press the "LOCK" button on the transmitter.
3. When the doors lock, the turn signal lamp will flash once, indicating that the system is armed.
Unlocking the Doors
1. Press the "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter.
2. When all doors unlock, the turn signal lamp will flash twice, indicating that the system is disarmed.
Replacing the battery
When the transmitter battery is nearly depleted, it may be necessary to press the lock or unlock button several times, and the LED will not light. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
Replacement Instructions:

1. Separate the case using a Phillips screwdriver.

2. Remove the old battery from the case and note its polarity. Make sure the new battery has the same polarity ("+" side facing down), and insert the battery into the transmitter.
