Head Restraint (If Equipped)

Head Restraint Adjustment
Adjust the head restraint so that the top of the restraint is as close as possible to the back of your head, at eye level and not at neck level.
1. To raise the head restraint, simply pull it upward.
2. To lower the head restraint, push it down while pressing the release button in the direction of the arrow. After adjusting, press the head restraint to check that it is locked.
If the vehicle is equipped with a head restraint that adjusts horizontally, pull the top of it.
Removing the Head Restraint
To remove the head restraint, pull it out while pressing the release button in the direction of the arrow.
When installing the head restraint, first make sure it is facing the correct direction, then insert it into the seatback and press down until it locks in place. Check that the release button is in the correct position, as shown in the illustration, then try to pull the head restraint upward to make sure it does not come out.
It is dangerous to drive the vehicle without the head restraint installed.
